New -email addresses for all students

Important: All students will automatically get a new e-mail address 17th August. Good to keep in mind when you give out your contact information.

As you probably know the University will launch a new graphical platform and communications policy 19th August External link.. A part of this project is to change all of the e-mail addresses so they end with @student.ju.se instead of @student.hj.se.

Why? It's pretty simple. The University's new brand will be "Jönköping University" in both Swedish and English. That's why the abbreviation will be JU.

How will this affect me?

The change will happen automatically and the only things you need to do is the following:

• update any accounts you created where the current e-mail address is used
• update any mailing lists with the new address
• notify your contacts of your new address
