What is hitract?

Hitract is a platform for student unions and associations – but most importantly for students! The purpose of hitract is to collect everything in one platform: Memberships, events, tickets, communication and our local community

How do I pay the union fee through hitract?

In order to pay the union fee through the app, you have to follow a few simple steps:

Download the hitract app from App Store External link. and Google Play External link.
Create an account
Search for “JSU” or “Jönköping Student Union” or use the following link: JSU @ hitract External link.
Click on ”show all offers” and select the right membership.
Click on “Become member”.
Enter your personal number to verify through Ladok and pay the membership fee.
Activate by going to the menu → settings → activate.

Done! You will automatically follow Jönköping Student Union and your student association and will get notifications for all of our events and our communication.

*If you don’t have a personal number, use the number at the bottom left of your JU-card. Add the first 2 digits in the year you were born (19 or 20) to the beginning to make the sequence 12 digits!

How do I know which membership to pay for?

Are you a regular student?

All students at Jönköping University or partner institutions must pay the membership fee:

360 SEK if you study a program or 15.5 ETCs or more at campus (250 SEK at partner institutions)
250 SEK if you study between 7.6-15 ETCs at campus (250 SEK at partner institutions)
75 SEK if you study less than 7.6 ETCs at campus or partner institutions

Are you a distance student?

If you are studying a course or program online, the membership fee is 75 SEK per semester, regardless of how many HP the course provides.

Are you a doctoral, exchange or re-registered student?

If you are a doctoral student, exchange student, or re-registered student, you can still become a regular member by paying the same fee as those with obligatory membership.

Are you studying a technical foundation year or vocational education?

Students who are not enrolled in programs that provide ETC credits, such as those taking a technical foundation year or vocational education, can pay a fee of 200 SEK per semester

Supporting Memberships are paid in Student Service (Rio) in the Student Union building.

Are you an Alumni?

Alumni, who have graduated and were previously a member can pay 50 SEK per semester, or pay 500 SEK for a lifetime membership

What can I use the hitract app for other than paying the union fee?

You can use the hitract app for a number of things, including:

Getting information about and buying ticket to union and association events
Becoming friends with other students and connecting through the chat
Taking part of communication from the union and associations
Accessing student deals

And much more!

How do I find events and other activities through the app?

Once you become a union member, you will have a personal event calendar at the top of the home feed (first screen when you open the app), showing you all upcoming events for organizations you are a member or follower of.

How do I get access to travel discounts?

After paying for a union membership, the data will be transferred to Mecenat within four work days, meaning that you can still use Mecenat to access travel discounts.
